Privacy policy
Last updated 15 September 2026
This policy explains what information Unsync collects when you use the service, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Unsync is operated by Braingig LLC.
1. Who we are
Unsync is a website conversion service operated by Braingig LLC ("we", "us"). Braingig LLC is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us through the contact details published at braingig.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information. Your email address, and optionally your name and company, which you provide when you create an account or edit your profile.
Content you submit. The files, archives, links, exported templates and screenshots you upload so they can be converted, plus the design description and output package generated from them.
Usage records. A record of each conversion you run, including the direction, the number of sections, whether the result passed validation and when it ran. We use this to apply your plan limits and show your history.
Technical data. Standard server and security logs such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, used to keep the service available and to prevent abuse.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide the service, run the conversions you request, enforce plan limits, keep your history available, respond to support requests, send essential service messages, bill for paid plans, and detect or prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the designs or source files you upload to promote the service without your written permission.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to meet legal obligations (such as tax records), and on the basis of our legitimate interests in securing the service and improving it. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
5. Processing your uploads
Content you upload is processed to produce your conversion. Parts of a source may be sent to third-party processing providers that we use to interpret designs and code. Those providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your content for their own purposes.
Your source files and generated packages are stored so you can return to them, and are deleted when you delete the conversion or close your account.
6. Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, authentication, design and code processing providers, and — when paid plans are active — a payment processor. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.
7. Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is open. Conversion records and packages are kept until you delete them or close your account. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires. Security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing, or object to certain processing. You can edit your profile in the app at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by contacting us. We respond within the period required by applicable law.
9. Security
Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level database rules, so your conversions are visible only to you and to authorised administrators. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you promptly if a breach affects you.
10. International transfers
Our infrastructure and providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Children
Unsync is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date at the top always shows the current version, and we will notify account holders of material changes by email or in the app.
13. Contact
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact Braingig LLC through the details published at braingig.com.
